- EDP is calling CDS and unpacked API
- What is EDP page?

- This widget data API above is calling unpackaged data API. (MS2 has config to redirect above call to CDS) We get other changes from Sitecore and integrate them with.

- Using a GUID (Globally Unique Identifier) for generating unique IDs is generally safe. However, using only the first 8 characters of the GUID reduces its uniqueness significantly. A GUID is 128 bits long, and truncating it to 8 characters (32 bits) drastically increases the likelihood of collisions.
- headshot, addressed comments from Naveen and trying to understand the changes for RFC related to changes for CDS.
Here’s a safer approach:
- Use the entire GUID if possible to ensure uniqueness.
- If you need a shorter unique identifier, consider using a more collision-resistant approach like a cryptographic hash function.
